Description
The RF25N Rudder Feedback Unit with transmission link and five metre NMEA2000 Micro-C cable, is typically used on boats with inboard engines, on larger vessels, and in special applications where Virtual Rudder Feedback may not be suitable.
It connects to a rudder via a mechanical linkage and continuously reports actual rudder position to an autopilot computer – allowing the Simrad Continuum steering algorithm to make the best-informed steering decisions possible.
The RF25N connects directly to a boatÕs NMEA 2000¨ network, simplifying the cabling required for installation. It can be horizontally, vertically or upside-down mounted.
