Jabsco 2431 cam is the UK part number for the Jabsco USA 2431-1000 cam. This cam plate will replace Johnson 01-42584 cams.
Jabsco cam plate is for the following Jabsco impeller cooling pumps:
11120-205, 17440-0001, 23430-1051, 23430-1251, 50310-1251, 52080-2051, 6030-41, 6420-205, 6420-2051, 6520-205, 6520-251, 777-9051, 9700-05, 9700-101, 9700-41, 9710-205, 9770-205 and JD 3/4″-205.
The cam plate, often referred to as a comb plate deforms the flexible impeller blades to create a flow of liquid inside the pump. The cam plate is a wearing part inside of the pump and should be inspected regularly and replaced when needed to maintain pump performance.
