Description
The CleenLife bilge sock is designed to capture oil, fuel and other hydrocarbons. The sock is left in the bilge and, using an advanced hydrophobic technology, absorbs the contaminants in the water. It will not absorb water, just the oils and fuels floating on the water surface. This prevents contaminants being discharged overboard, and helps to keep the bilge clean.
CleenLife bilge socks are an inexpensive pollution prevention product and can be used for other applications, such as small spill containment at refuelling or around workshops. They are quick and easy to deploy and to dispose of once the sock is saturated.
