The stainless steel 304 continuous hinge (also commonly referred to as a piano hinge) has a standard length of 6ft (1.83 metres) and measures 1-1/2″ wide.
The 1.2mm (0.048″, 18 gauge) hinge leaf thickness is the lightest within the group of medium duty continuous hinges. Major advantages of this group of products over the light duty range are the increased firmness of the hinge itself, adding rigidity to the structure to which it is attached and the ability to take larger fixing screws.
