Loctite 577 is a medium strength, slow curing thread sealant designed for use with metal threads only. Loctite is resistant to fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids and coolants making it perfect for use in a wide range of industries. The sealant also locks the threaded connection in place to prevent loosening caused by vibrations.
Loctite 577 sealant will not creep, shrink or block systems by shredding, It can be applied quickly at low temperatures and has excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
