Description
Aktivator-205 from Sika is designed to treat bond faces before application of Sikaflex and Sikasil adhesives and sealants. The transparent solvent-based adhesion promoter is formulated to react with moisture and deposit active groups on the substrate – these groups act as a link between substrates and primers or sealants/adhesives.
NOTE: This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions must be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility. Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika Primer-215 on materials prone to stress cracking.
