This terminal cover is made from PVC and is designed to protect terminal connections from short circuits, such as stud type connectors on alternators, starters, windlasses and other high amperage devices. The CableCap series are designed to look good as well as give protection to your electronics.
This lug and ring terminal insulator is colour coded black to signal a negative connection.
Using this terminal cover allows you to comply with ABYC E-9, USCG 33 Subpart I and ISO 10133 standards.
