Genuine Jabsco 2574 replacement wear plate for Jabsco pumps.
The wear plate (or face plate) is fitted before the impeller at the front of the Jabsco pump. The wear plate is designed as a service spare, and will be worn by the impeller. This saves the front body of the pump from becoming worn. Both the wear plate and the end cover are extremely important in ensuring that the pump works to designed specifications, and both the wear plate and the face plate should be checked at every impeller service / change and replaced if necessary.
